Pre-development
Reports

British landscape
So, you have a field with a few trees in it and you want to develop the area for housing...

Which trees should be kept? Which could be removed?

A pre-development arboricultural report is designed to plot trees accurately, assign a category of importance/significance and calculate the trees root protection area (RPA). Using the information gathered during the tree survey, a tree constraints plan can be produced. This can then be used to make an informed decision on the design of the housing layout and its feasibility.

Having trees within the housing development should be seen as a positive as it can increase house sale value and improve quality of life for new residents.

Trees should be an integral part of the design process, let us show you how they can work in symbiosis with a housing development and how to progress to the next steps.
